HOW TO STYLE: The Ursula Mule

The URSULA Mule in Raffia

Our Summers are long and hot and as a result, we are drawn towards pieces to wear that we can just throw on and feel put together. Enter URSULA, one of the newest styles from Spanish brand, Baltarini. With its beautiful raffia texture in a checked weave pattern and sculptural block heel, these shoes are so ready to accompany you all season long.

Once reserved for the beach and vacations, raffia, which is produced from the veins of the Raffia palm, has been making its' way into every facet of fashion over the past few seasons. Now a fiber that used to be seen as casual and beachy, has risen up the fashion ranks and is highly sought after, with even top designers such as Chanel and Dior creating raffia masterpieces.

With the relaxed, beach culture that pretty much sums Australia up, we have grabbed onto raffia accessories with both hands and don't look ready to let go anytime soon. So now with raffia as a fabric has permeated even dressier shoe styles, especially ones with heels like URSULA, the option to wear them to so many more occasions has opened up. Check out how we would rock our pair all weekend long to a bunch of different events!
