Products

We hand-select designers from around the globe, that aren’t widely found elsewhere (if at all) in Australia. On each product page you will find a “Designer Profile” tab which will give you an overview of each designer. If you would like additional information, please email hello@thenowherenation.com and we will be happy to help.

As many of our styles are limited, once they’re sold out, they are gone for good. Occasionally we are able to restock so we recommend that you sign up to the stock alerts as in the event we do get more in, you’ll be notified via email if/when they’re available to buy on the website again.  

If we realise that an item is out of stock after you have placed the order, we will be in touch with you via phone or email and will refund you for the item immediately or help you swap for something else.

Since we stock a range of designers from around the globe, you will find the information on each product page in the description. To find out more about specific designers you can also look at the “Designer Profile” tab on the product page which will give you additional information.

As each product varies, you can find all this information on the specific product page under Product Description tab. We always detail all materials and where each product is crafted.

Yes! We currently stock Sylven New York which is a fully sustainable and vegan designer that crafts beautiful pieces from apple leather. We have additional vegan products from other designers and you can find them here. To learn more about apple leather as a vegan material you can click here.

If you know exactly what you are looking for please click on “Search” and enter the style name in the search box.

Alternatively, once you are looking at “All Shoes” you can select a category/designer from the filter bar.

Orders/Payments

Making a purchase is easy!

Simply select your items, along with size, click “add to cart” and then from the cart page click "checkout” and follow the straight forward prompts on screen.

We can’t take orders via phone for security purposes so please make all purchases directly through our website (or in-person at our boutique)

If you’re having any issues with placing an order, please let us know; we are happy to help and walk you through any issues.

If your order is being delivered within Australia you will not pay duties or import fees

If your order is being delivered outside of Australia, your order may be subject to additional duties, taxes and import fees determined by your country. These will be your responsibilty.

Please note that if you choose to return your order the duties and taxes will not be refunded.

We currently accept all major credit and debit cards, international credit/debit cards, Afterpay interest-free payments, Laybuy interest-free payments and Paypal

Unfortunately, we are only able to accept one payment method per transaction.

We personally try on every shoe each season and offer recommended sizing instructions for every product on each product page. You can find the size guide on the product page of the item you are looking for including a measurement chart (cm) and international conversions to help you find the right fit for you. SHIPPING

We offer free standard shipping via Australia Post on all orders over $300. For any orders under $300, shipping costs will apply depending on the product. For standard and express shipping rates depending on your order value and location please see our shipping/returns page here with all the details.

We do ship worldwide! To get a quote, please finish adding items to your shopping bag and enter your postal code and region into the quote finder to see a complete quote on shipping fees to your address. Or head to our shipping/returns page here for more info.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your Australia Post tracking number.

RETURNS

We hope you love your purchases, but if for any reason you do need to return, we are able to provide a refund or store credit. (excluding products by Collonil or The Well Heeled, books, candles and earrings)

Return requests must be made within 7 days of the order arrival to you.

Australian returns - return shipping is free and we will email you a shipping label. International returns - you are responsible for the return shipping costs.

Refunds/store credits will only be made ensuring items are in original packaging (shoe box, dust bag etc) and in saleable condition.

You will be refunded (in the payment methods used to purchase) or issued your store credit (gift card) when receive the return.

Please note:

  • Full priced + up to 20% off items can be returned for a refund or credit note.
  • 20-30% off items only eligible for store credit note. (unless deemed faulty)
  • 40-50% off items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged (unless deemed faulty)
  • Earrings cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons.
  • Shoe care items by  Collonil or The Well Heeled, books and candles are all not eligible for return.

To request any return, please email hello@thenowherenation.com with your name and order details within 7 days of the order arriving to you.

If you email us after 7 days, we will be unable to process a return for you.

Australian customers - we will send you a free Australia Post return shipping label that you will print out and attach to your orginal shipping box & drop at local post office.

International customers - you are responsible for the return shipping costs. Once emailed, please choose shipping of your choice to

We advise choosing a service that has tracking available, as the order remains your responsibilty until it reaches us.

Once we receive the order back and check everything is in original, saleable condition your refund or store credit (gift card) will be processed.

We will gladly accept returns (except items marked "Final Sale”and excluded products stated above) within 7 days from date of delivery.

Yes for Australian orders, returns are free!

If you are located internationally, returns are at your own cost.

Once we receive your return and determine it is in original saleable condition, you can expect your refund or store credit (gift card) within 7 days.

Other

Simply email hello@thenowherenation.com and we’ll look into this for you.  When you get in touch with us, please provide your order number and photographs of your item and the faults.

Once we have determined the fault, we will be able to move forward with options such as repair, replace or refund (all depending and on a case by case basis)

Please be aware that items which have been damaged as a result of normal wear and tear, by accident, or your own misuse, will not be considered faulty.

We always advise storing shoes away from light and heat, in a clean dry area. Where possible we recommend keeping the shoes in their original shoe box.

Limit your shoes exposure to damp or extreme temperature fluctuations.

To preserve many of the finishes and accessories, please avoid contact with abrasive surfaces.

It is normal for leather goods to bear natural imperfections and anomalies, these make every piece original and exclusive to you.
