At The Nowhere Nation we are always on the lookout for unique, stylish women-led brands to champion and to add to our carefully curated collections. Today, we are delighted to introduce you to our latest addition: ALEFIA. We are proud to be the first stockist to bring this remarkable brand to you!

ABOUT THE BRAND:

ALEFIA  was founded by Stephanie Petrou Gonzalez at the height of the global pandemic. Frustrated by the lack of stylish, high-quality, and comfortable high heels, Stephanie set out to create a brand that would bridge the gap between luxury design and affordability. She envisioned shoes that not only looked great but felt great, and were accessible to more people.

Through her research, Stephanie discovered Italian artisans who have been crafting footwear for generations, the same artisans behind many renowned luxury brands. Honoring their history and craftsmanship, Stephanie embarked on a journey to create ALEFIA. It took 2.5 years from the brand’s inception to perfect the first range, with the signature Stephanie Mule going through three rounds of sampling to achieve the perfect blend of beauty and comfort.

ALEFIA is female-focused at every touchpoint with heritage at the forefront. Led by Stephanie herself, the brand named after Stephanie's nieces Alegra and Sofia, and the team bringing Stephanie's designs to life is also composed of women. The artisans, aged between 50 and 70, come to work each day to create art for women's feet, crafting each pair with love and dedication.
